


Dries Van Noten FW 2010
I was going to wait till Summer passed before going blog crazy over the Fall Runway since we stock the store seasonally, but since it feels like fall anyway, I'm just gonna go ahead and do it. Especially since Dries Van Noten's Fall/Winter show was really all about layering pieces that could easily stick around in your closet throughout the Summer. And he does it in such a fresh way that makes you appreciate a cool breeze!
I mean, this look is so incredibly 1950's! Super modern sillouetts, very clean, very smart. I think a lot of it is the minimal military pallette that helps keep it feeling so fresh. That and the tosseled hair, dark glasses and unlikely pairings of things, like she just grabbed it on her way out without a second thought.
