'Tis the Season to be Married!

Don't get me wrong, I have seen EVERY episode of Say Yes To The Dress, and while the drama over Grandma's disapproval of a plunging neckline proves to be quite entertaining, I have yet to see a dress featured on the show that really wows me. So where does a girl turn when modern bridal styles just don't do it for her? To the past!

This morning, Honey and I met Ali from A Noble Savage at his loft in Brooklyn. I'm still pretty speechless from the experience. His collection of designer vintage, rare denim, and printed matter was, in my opinion, museum quality. Ali seems to live and breathe vintage. For us, it was so refreshing to see a side of the industry that is not engrossed in trade shows and fast paced business transactions. Rather, what we were looking at was a thoughtful and well curated selection that could only be produced by someone like Ali, who to us represents the very heart and soul of vintage.
